Cheryl Markland retired from the Baptist State Convention of NC, May 2022 after serving almost 10 years as Children’s and Family Ministry Strategist. Cheryl continues to serve as a children’s ministry contractor with the BSCNC offering training and help to NC Baptist churches. In addition to her service at the BSCNC, Cheryl served on staff at two Charlotte area churches as children’s minister for 17 years. Cheryl has been married to Curtis Markland since 1981 and has two adult children and their spouses and two granddaughters.
